It's almost time for Baby Owen to make his appearance! We switched locations and start time so we could avoid the rain to get these two in front of the camera with just a few short weeks left before Owen arrives. Samantha makes pregnancy look amazing and Corey keeps her laughing!

It's good luck to have rain on your wedding day, right? If that's the case McCall and CJ are off to a fabulous start to the rest of their life! It rained...and rained some more basically all day until after the ceremony. It poured during their ceremony but every.single.guest. stood out there with them with umbrellas to watch McCall and CJ commit themselves to each other. McCall's dad even held an umbrella over the couple during some of the ceremony!

Jessica and Nick were a dream to work with at their engagement session! Nick is a firefighter so they had the idea to incorporate his turnout gear in some of the photos. I'm so glad they did this! It gave such a personal touch to their engagement photos. I can't wait for their wedding in July!

Last weekend I met Liz and Rob out at one my most favorite spots...Back Bay! They were so fun to photograph. They're so in love and they're not afraid to show it! I can't wait for their wedding next month!

Jen and Stephan eloped in Italy but they weren't able to have a professional photographer. I was so excited when she asked me to capture some pictures of them back home! They got back into their wedding attire and braved the cold for our session. They're so adorable together...I absolutely loved having them in front of my camera. And Jen?? Oh my goodness girlfriend...you are freaking gorgeous!! This was one of my favorite sessions! Just take a look at the pictures and you'll see why!

Julia and I used to know each other a long time ago when we worked together. Our paths crossed again thanks to Beach Ambassadors. I was so excited when she asked me to take her maternity pictures. I was even more excited when I got to her house and saw the beautiful property that hers and Jon's house is on! Trees and water and a dock!

Motherhood already looks good on this mama!!

We had such a perfect day for Megan and Mike's engagement session! The weather was great and the sunset was to die for! These two are seriously adorable and obviously head over heels for each other. I'm pretty sure you'll be seeing pictures from this session for a while! I can't wait for their wedding next year!

I've known Greg and Ashley for so long...like almost 10 years! I was so so happy when they asked me to do their maternity session! Ashley is just radiating joy and the way Greg looks at her...gah!! Princess Acton is going to be one super loved little girl!

I have known Morgan for pretty much all her life! I was honored when I found out she wanted me to take her senior pictures! She's grown up so beautifully and I know she's going to do big things!!

We had to reschedule our initial session because it was just too damn hot out! We got lucky and found a cool(er) day sandwiched in between 96 degrees and rain! I'm so glad I got these little cuties in front of my camera!!

f you remember, a few months back I launched my new business name along with all new branding. Well, part of that launch was an Instagram giveaway (you can follow me on insta here). I did a random drawing and gave away a Love Session. These two were the winners and I'm so happy it was them! They chose to have their session in the Art District in downtown Norfolk...probably my favorite place to shoot!! I mean, if you look at my About Me page all of the pictures are from the Art District!

Heather rocked out her labor with John by her side. It was so amazing to watch him support his wife as she was laboring to bring the final piece of their family into this world. This was such an amazing thing to witness. Heather, I am so proud of you, booface! Sailor is perfect!!

I'M 30 BITCHES!!! 

You guys...I am freaking stoked that I'm 30!

A few weeks ago my family was invited to the shipyard that my dad has worked at since he moved here 24 years ago to celebrate his promotion to Superintendent. To say my dad has worked his ass off for this position over the years would be an understatement. He worked in the shipyard in Philly before he transferred as a temporary employee to Virginia Beach to be with my mom, my sister, and I. They were soon married and my next younger sister and my little brother weren't far behind. My dad knew he couldn't remain a temporary employee so to become a permanent employee he entered the apprenticeship program and graduated with honors...no shocker there! He was also working as many overtime hours as he could at this time. This meant he wasn't home much while we were awake but he and my mom worked their butts off to send us all to private school and make sure we wanted for nothing. A couple years later he was promoted to supervisor. And now, Superintendent.
